Team seats
Your plan includes a number of seats. Every member or pending invitation beyond that is a paid seat on your subscription.
What a seat is
A seat is one person in your workspace, including anyone with a pending invitation. Every plan includes a number of them; anyone beyond that number is a paid seat.
How seats are billed
Seats are a quantity on your subscription. When you add a member or send an invitation mid-cycle, the seat is added right away and you pay only for the rest of the current cycle. When the next cycle starts, the quantity is set to the number of people in the workspace at that moment.
A paid seat is $20 per seat per month. A seat added mid-cycle is charged for the remaining part of the cycle only.
The rules, in full
- Invites are not gated by price. Add a teammate any time and the seat is added to your subscription. A pending invitation counts as a seat until it is accepted or revoked. Your workspace has a member limit; the Members page shows it.
- Remove someone and the seat frees up at renewal. Seats never shrink mid-cycle; when the next cycle starts, the count is set to the people in the workspace at that moment.
- Seats are free during the trial. Bring the whole team in while you are evaluating — seat billing begins when the trial converts to a paid plan.
- Sales-granted workspaces are not metered. If your access was granted directly by our team, seats are not billed for as long as that grant is active.
